Mrs. Sandra Joyce Bell, 71, of Kite passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Bell was born July 16, 1944 in Kite, Ga. to the late Asa Lindsey and Stella Hayes Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Jerry Bell; sisters, Ouida Hood, and Grace Bush. Mrs. Bell was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. She loved crafts, fishing and being outdoors.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Raymond Bell Sr., of Kite; son, Raymond Eugene (Cassandra) Bell of Kite; daughter, Teresa Wingate of Kite; sister, Sallie Kaye (Rick) Dixon of Blairsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Christy (Matt) Wiggins of Swainsboro, and Jessica Wingate of Kite.; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 3:00 PM Monday afternoon, June 13, 2016 with Reverend Shannon Boula, Elder Tommy Rountree, and Reverend Tom Akins officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman Cemetery, Twin City.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of service Monday afternoon, June 13, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Terry Brown, Kenneth Coleman, Mike Thompson, Calvin Blackburn, Joe Blackburn, and Rick Dixon.
Honorary Pallbearers are Harry Martin, Doyle Kersey, and Allen Vescuso.
