Sarah Kay (Mosley) Akridge

Ms. Sarah Kay Akridge, 41, of Swainsboro, GA. passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019.

Ms. Akridge was born June 23, 1977 in Metter, GA. to Hardwick Mosley and Sarah Slater Mosley. She was preceded in death by her father; niece, Cheyanne Hair Mosley.  Ms, Akridge was a lifelong resident of Swainsboro.  She had been manager of Dollar Tree for the past 10 years.  Ms. Akridge loved Christmas, watching the Patriots play and watching wrestling.  She was a one of a kind lady, never met a stranger and loved every person she came in contact with.  She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed every day.  You never saw her without a smile on her face.  Ms. Akridge was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her mother, Sarah Slater Mosley of Stillmore; daughters, Samantha Hadden of Swainsboro, daughter of Lon Hadden, Abigail Page of Twin City, daughter of Loren Page, and Natalie Akridge of Swainsboro, daughter of Jim D. Akridge; brothers, Donnie Slater (Nancy) of Stillmore, Richard Mosley (Elayah) of Swainsboro, and Kenny Paul Mosley of Stillmore; sister, Jennie Mosley (Dale Brown) of Twin City; special cousin, Hope Glisson (Matt) of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 with Rev. Robert Beckum and Speaker Keith Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Stillmore City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Chapmen Funeral Home of  Swainsboro.

Pallbearers are Blake Edenfield, Matt Slater, Paul Slater, Matt Glisson, Cameron Beasley, and Roy Jones.
