Mr. Scott Williford, 59, of Twin City passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Community Hospice in Vidalia, following an extended illness.
Mr. Williford was born July 22, 1964, in Louisville to T.W. Williford, Jr. and Helen Harris Williford. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ricky Williford; nephew, Bob Hoke. Scott was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved the Lord and his family. His 2 grandsons were his world, as well as his soon to be great grandson. Scott loved to fish, ride his golf cart and spend time with his family. He worked for Fulghum Industries for many years. He loved life to the fullest.
Mr. Williford is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Williford; daughters, Tina (Foster) Grimes of Twin City, Brittany Godbee (Josh) of Dublin; brothers, Edward Williford (Brenda) of Garfield, Donnie Williford (Myra) of Kite; sisters, Ellen Wilkerson of Midville, Cathy Flanders (Glen) of Dellwood, Patsy Sherrod (JC) of Millen, and Joan Foskey (Cleve) of Guyton; grandchildren, Seth Frederick (Emily), Case Kinzer, Ellie Grace Godbee, Merci Kate Godbee; soon to be great grandson, Dutton Scott Frederick.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Morris Brantley officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M prior to service.
Interment will follow at Coleman Cemetery in Twin City.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Burke, Mitchell Cowart, Spencer Brannen, Mickey Frederick, Kevin Boatright, and Jerry Brown.
