Scotty Ray Scarboro, Sr.

Mr. Scotty Ray Scarboro, Sr, 51, of Swainsboro Georgia passed away at Emanuel Medical Center, January 9, 2023, following a brief illness.

Scotty was born November 12, 1971, in Swainsboro, to Ray Scarboro and Shirley Scott Graham. Years later, he had 6 children and several grandchildren. He worked roughly 25 years with Central Fence & his last year with the Chester’s. He had a love for NASCAR & working with anything that had to do with tools. He was an amazing husband and father. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray Scarboro and Shirley Scott Graham.

He is survived by his wife, Jody Miller Scarboro of Swainsboro, sons; Scotty Scarboro Jr of Swainsboro, Ga. and Walter Clark of Swainsboro, daughters; Heather Fraser (Brian) of Soperton, Jessica Wilkes (Michael) of Adrian, Krista Phillips (Blake) of Adrian, Lacey Coleman (Brandon) of Canoochee and Skylar Miller of Swainsboro, sister; Rene Clark of Swainsboro; twelve grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Chapman Funeral Home with Minister Joe Aldridge officiating.
