Seresa Ann Waters

Mrs. Seresa Ann Waters, 55, of Twin City passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Waters was born April 6, 1965 in Swainsboro to Bobby Sherrod and the late Georgia Mae Braddy Sherrod. She is preceded in death by her mother; brother, Jimmy Ray Sherrod. Mrs. Sherrod worked at KFC for 18 years. She had a humble spirit and was always smiling. Mrs, Waters loved God and going to church. She was a member of Emanuel Christian Ministries.

Survivors include her husband Eddie Waters of Twin City; father, Bobby Sherrod of Twin City; son, Joseph Sherrod of Twin City; daughter, Stacy Flores of Twin City; brothers, Bobby Frank Sherrod of Twin City, Harvey Lamar (Cora Lee) Sherrod of Eastman; sister, LaDona Lara (Bud Wright) of Metter; grandchildren, Nicolasa Flores, Georgia Mae Flores, Christopher Flores, Juan Flores; 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great-nieces, 3 great-nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 15, 2020 3:00 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Brad McKenzie officiating.

Interment will follow in the Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 14, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Travis Wilkerson, Sammy Braddy, Dale Brown, Bud Wright, Todd Sherrod, Wendall Powell.

In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service.
