Sue Henry

Mrs. Sue Henry, 77, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Henry was born May 16, 1947, in Swainsboro to the late Leon Edenfield and Rebecca Smith Edenfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charlie Henry. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Mrs. Henry loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed solving word search puzzles. She retired from Maryland’s Fried Chicken as their manager and also worked at Argo Mills/Creston. Mrs. Henry loved Bingo, Butter Bean Auction and Friday Night Socials. She was very loved by everyone at Swainsboro Presbyterian Apartments. Mrs. Henry was the President of Resident Council at Swainsboro Presbyterian Apartments for twelve years.

Mrs. Henry is survived by her son, Destry Henry (Kim); grandchildren, Charlie Henry, Briana Henry, Jarett Henry; great grandchildren, Rovie and Ripken; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M Monday, June 10, 2024, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 10, 2024, at Chapman Funeral Home.
