Tamishia Lachelle Knowles

Ms. Tamishia LaChelle Knowles, 46, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Community Hospice in Vidalia following an extended illness.

Ms. Knowles was born January 17, 1974 in Swainsboro to Jesse Brown, Jr. and Bertha Johnson.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Jessica L. Brown and husband, Stafford Knowles, Jr.  Ms. Knowles was very artistic and creative.  She loved to draw and sing.  Ms. Knowles was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Swainsboro.

Survivors include her mother, Bertha Adams of Sarasota, FL; father, Jesse Brown, Jr. of Swainsboro; daughter, Tamishia Namari Knowles of Trenton, NJ; sons, Ricardo Rashaad Roberts of Kennesaw and William Anthony Brown of Bronx, NY; brothers, Derrick (Niki) Brown of Sarasota, FL, Gary (Mika) Brown of Decatur and Preston Brown of El Centro, CA; sisters, Breanna Davis of Atlanta and Cara Hampton of Twin City; grandson, Aiden Roberts of Powder Springs; a devoted and loving companion of 12 years, Alexander Bell of Swainsboro; an extended family of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
