Mr. Teddy Woodrow McGee, 72, of Swainsboro passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. He was born February 10, 1952, in Swainsboro to the late Woodrow McGee and Ruby Wilkes McGee.
Mr. McGree was preceded in death by his parents, wife Robin McGee; brothers, Roy McGree, Johnny McGee; sister, Dot Rich.
Teddy was hard-working and dedicated. He spent 20 years working in a manufacturing plant making ladders at Kellers, this is where he met his late wife Robin, and 10 + years at Harvey supermarket working in the produce department where he retired due to medical reasons. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Teddy’s hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbecuing and camping. He often loved going on adventures with his wife Robin, they would pack up and leave for the weekend wherever they wanted to go. His love for deep sea fishing was something he shared with his children and grandchildren, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.
He is survived by his son Darren (Megan) of Swainsboro, Jennifer (Lenny) Canoochee, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
We find comfort in knowing that Teddy's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
