Mr. Terry Dale Poteat, 63, of Twin City, Ga. passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mr. Poteat was born November 19, 1952 in Spartanburg, SC. to the late Arthur Poteat and Jessie Staggs Poteat. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kenneth Dale Poteat. Mr. Poteat worked for Duke Power Company for years as a Tree Cutter. He was known for making people laugh. Mr. Poteat was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Renea Davis of Moore, SC.; brother, Ronald Poteat of Piedmont, SC.; sisters, Janice Otowski of Piedmont, SC., and Debra Poteat of Boiling Springs, SC.; grandchildren, Tyler Poteat, and Maranda Poteat; great-grandchild, Colten Poteat; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at Floyd’s Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016.
