Mr. Thomas Dwayne “Phat Back” Corley, 27, of Twin City died Friday, October 18, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Corley was born in Augusta to Winndale Corley and Julia Flores. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hank and Margaret Brown; paternal grandparents, T. J. Corley and Henrietta Corley. Mr. Corley loved hunting and fishing. He attended New Testament Christian Academy.
Survivors include his mother, Julia (Pewee) Flores of Twin City; father, Winndale Corley of Soperton; daughter, Miley Grace Corley of Summertown; sisters, Brandi Brown of Soperton and Sheree Corley of Swainsboro; niece Allison Avilez of Soperton; nephew, Ashton Avilez of Soperton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 o’clock Monday afternoon, October 21, 2013 with Reverend James Davis and Tommy Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in the Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening, October 20, 2013 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Brandon Slater, Ryan Womack, Steven Thangs, Cory Edwards, Jamie Meade, Johnny Rowe, Chris Ducker, Jeffrey Aldrich.
