Mr. Timothy Wayne Clark, 69, of Garfield passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, unexpectedly at his home along with his loving dog, Yabba.
Tim was born April 2, 1953, in Millen to W. H. Clark and June Ellen Sikes Clark. He was preceded in death by his father, W.H. Clark; Brother Steve Clark.
Tim graduated from Jenkins County high school. After he graduated, he joined the National Guard for one year. When he returned home, he loved spending time with his horse, Cyclone and barrel racing. He then worked as a foreman at Plant Vogtle for years. When he returned to his hometown, he ran the service station in Garfield where he entertained the residents of Garfield. He later worked for Brown and Root where he traveled around the United States. He retired and then farmed with Donald Atkinson for about 10 years. After this he stayed around home where he helped Clay Clark farm. He loved to bicker with and aggravate his “Ma”, June Ellen, who always gave it right back to him.
Tim will be most remembered for his extraordinary stories that always contained about 10% of the truth, but he could make you believe the other 90%. He will also be remembered for his love for the ladies, Busch light, how “fast” he drove, and his love for his animals. In his last few weeks, he enjoyed spending his time at home with his sister Renee, brother-in-law Sidney, nieces Morgan, Addi, and Chanlee, and nephew Gray. He was the entertainer of the family and will be missed beyond words.
Survivors include his mother June Ellen Clark of Garfield; daughters, Hope Henry (Travis) of Stillmore, Kim Monk (Caleb) of Richmond Hill; sisters, Stacy Moore (Stebo) of Twin City and Renee’ Rhoney (Sidney) of Garfield; grandchildren, Mason Henry (Alexis), Haley Henry, Payleigh Monk, Jeremiah Monk; sister-in-law, Debbie Clark of Garfield; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
