Mr. Timothy Edward “Tim” Coleman, 44, of Canoochee passed away Friday evening, September 12, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Pruitt Hospice of Swainsboro.
Mr. Coleman was born March 27, 1970 in Swainsboro to Eddie and Helen Coleman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Ann Coleman; maternal grandfather, Ollie E. Freeman, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Walter and Estelle Canady. Mr. Coleman was a life long resident of the Emanuel County and a 1988 ECI Graduate. He was very active in FFA. Mr. Coleman was ECI FFA President from 1986-1987 and also FFA State President from 1987-1988. He received many awards in cow and hog shows. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping out with his sons. He was a member of Hawhammock Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Eddie and Helen Coleman of Canoochee; sons, Timothy Edward “Eddie” Coleman, Jr., Justin Carter Coleman and Ricky Bustamante all of North Augusta, SC; sisters; Missy Oglesby and Jenny Smith both of Canoochee; maternal grandmother, Leola Freeman of Wadley; nieces; Amy (Shane) Estees of Swainsboro, Erin White of Twin City, Haley Smith of Canoochee; nephews, Lucas (Hali) Smith and Matthew Smith both of Canoochee; 2 great nieces; 2 great nephews; several aunts, uncles and friends.
Memorial services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, September 14, 2014 with Reverends Louis Pearce and Randy Adams officiating.
Interment will be in the Eastbrook Cemetery near Swainsboro.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon, September 14, 2014 at Chapman Funeral Home.
