Valerie L. Wilkerson

Ms. Valerie L. Wilkerson, 63, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born March 19, 1961, in Swainsboro to the late Quince Wilkerson and Evie Dell Hall Wilkerson.  Valerie was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Larry Wilkerson, George Wilkerson, Henry Wilkerson and Stanely Wayne Wilkerson.  She loved to visit the mountains.  Valerie also was a cat lover and loved to listen to gospel music.

She is survived by her brothers, Charles Ronald Wilkerson of Garfield, Randy Wilkerson (Glenda) of Swainsboro; sisters, Trannie Hopkins (Edward) of Swainsboro, Sandra Marsh of Stillmore; very special friend, Wyman Fowler; several other extended family members and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 P.M Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Jesus Saves Church with Reverend Brad McKenzie and Reverend Lamar Kersey officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Jesus Saves Church.

Interment will follow be at Lambs Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Henry Wilkerson, Neal Wilkerson, Rodney Sellers, Roger McKenzie, Cody Hopkins, and Matt Murray.
