Vicki Lynn Price Kersey

Mrs. Vicki Lynn Price Kersey, 70, of Swainsboro, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Kersey was born January 9, 1953, to Billy Madison Price and Annette Brantley Price.  She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Kersey was a member of Calvary Methodist Church. She was a retired civil servant, employed for many years by the Georgia Secretary of State. She loved the Georgia Bulldogs and enjoyed gatherings with her family, especially at Christmas. She loved her son and grandchildren fiercely. Mrs. Kersey had three fur babies she adored, Snowflake, Lucky, and Tito.

She is survived by her husband, Randall Kersey; son, Jarrett (Megan) Kersey; grandchildren, Nathan Kersey and Lauren Kersey.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2023, at Calvary Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Tidwell and Pastor Nick Hazelton officiating.

Entombment will follow in Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 19, 2023, at Calvary Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Calvary Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 421 South Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401; Gideons International, P.O. Box 365, Swainsboro, GA 30401; and The Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605.

The family would like to express their deepest heartfelt thanks to their family and friends, Calvary Church family, all of Mrs. Kersey’s caregivers, Pruitt Hospice, and Dr. Prasad.
