Virginia Lynn (Hancock) Anderson

Ms. Virginia Lynn Hancock Anderson, 31, of Savannah passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at her residence following a brief illness.

Ms. Anderson was born November 9, 1987 in Dublin, Ga. to Grady Thomas Hancock and Patricia Ann Wilson Hancock. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jesse Chavez, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Shirley Singley; paternal grandfather, John Hancock; Lucille Hancock.

Survivors include her parents, Patricia & Grady Hancock of Swainsboro; companion & best friend, Clarke Payne of Savannah; son, Christian Anderson of Glennville; daughter, Alivia Anderson of Glennville; brothers, Corey Hancock of Gordon, and David Hall of Milledgeville; sister, Lisa Tinker (Krey) of Statesboro; maternal grandfather, Leonard Wilson of Augusta; paternal grandmother, Louise Hancock of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 with Reverends Joe Bedgood and John Hancock officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
