Vivian Ann Mills

Mrs. Vivian Ann Mills, 73, of Kite passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Mills was born June 24, 1949, in Millen to Moses Oglesby and Ruby Lanier Oglesby. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sonny Mills; sister, Marie Oglesby Screws; brother, Moses Lamar Oglesby. Mrs. Mills enjoyed walks on the beach with her dog, Prissy, visiting the mountains, gardening, going on vacation with her sisters, and going to yard sales. She loved her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Mills was a member of Eastwood Church of God.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Johnson (Michael) of Scott; sons, Al Mills (Amber) of Millen, Rodney Mills (Missy) of Midville, Stanley Mills (Ashly) of Wrightsville; grandchildren, Cody Carmicharl, Rebecca Mills, Kyle Carmichael, Alaina Johnson, Addie Brown, Mikey Johnson, Ashton Mills, Lyley Mills, Waylon Mills; greatgrandchildren, Casey Miller, Nolan Carmichael, Lucy Bridges; sisters, Myra Oglesby Fleming of Millen, Susie Loreen Oglesby Beasley (Joe) of Statesboro, Ruby L. Oglesby Roberts (Johnny) of Flowery Branch, Geneva “Gennie” Oglesby of Herndon, Eloise Oglesby Coleman and Beverly Oglesby Boulineau (Joey), both of Midville, Karen Oglesby Cheek (Jimmy) of Dellwood; brothers, Reamer T. Oglesby (Ramona) of Twin City, David Oglesby (Teresa) and Steven Oglesby (Julie), both of Midville; sister-in-law, Bonnie Spearman of Warner Robins; special niece and caregiver, Brittany Boone; fur baby, Prissy; several other nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2022, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Andrew Flowers and Reverend Stanley Mills officiating.

Interment will follow in Mills Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Roberts, Ashton Mills, Reamer Oglesby, David Oglesby, Steve Oglesby, and Jimmy Cheek.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Beasley and Joey Boulineau.
