Mrs. Vivian Ramona Oglesby (Hutchinson), passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, at home. She was born on October 15, 1947 to Lois Cowart.
Mrs. Oglesby grew up in Twin City and was an avid ECI bulldog. She studied business administration at Georgia Southern University. She worked in Human Resources for Keller Ladder and Rayonier for many years. Ramona dearly loved Jesus, and her family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she is adored by many and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Reamer Oglesby, children, Tim Oglesby (Michelle), Tony Thompson (Kathy), Tracy Thompson (Sara), Eric Oglesby (Karen), Juli Jenkins (Rob), Sabrina Anderson (Josh), grandchildren, LeeAnna Thomas, Bella Mitchell, TJ Oglesby (Madison), Matt Oglesby, Cody Oglesby ,Tabitha Davis (Dustin), Tiffany Ross (Jon-Michael), Hunter Thompson, Bryson Thompson, Brandon Oglesby (Shelby Lynne), Austin Oglesby (Raye), Zachary Jenkins, Robert "Bobby" Jenkins (Conny), Alex Jenkins, Chelsea Wiggins (Zane), JP Tuttle (Courtney), Miranda Steptoe (Avery), 19 great grandchildren, bothers, Dan Cowart (Shirley) and Billy Cowart (Katie). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Cowart, stepfather, Caleb Allen, sister, Cowart Mary Ann Youmans.
Visitation will be held on September 12, 2025, from 10:00 A.M until 11:00 A.M. at Chapman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will take place on September 12, 2025, at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.
Interment will follow the funeral services at Eastbrook Cemetery.
