Wana Ree (Parrish) Forte

Mrs. Wana Ree Forte, 77, of East Dublin passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.  She was born November 10, 1947, in Wrightsville to the late Willie Lee “Bill” Parrish and Juanetta Tolor Parrish.  Wana was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Jimmy Browning and Steve Forte; brothers, Troy Parrish, Clint Parrish; sister, Villetes Young.  She was a CNA.  Wana loved fishing, fish fries, working in her yards in her younger years and flowers.  She also loved her animals.  Wana was a member of Pine Hill Holiness Church in Wrightsville.

She is survived by her brothers, Charles Parrish (Linda), Floyd Parrish (Gayle) both of Wrightsville, Roy Parrish of Dublin; sisters Jeanette Womack, Alma Boyette (Jimmy) both of Dellwood, Margaret Fulford (Billy) of Wrightsville; several nieces nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Pine Hill Holiness Church in Wrightsville with Reverend James Tolor officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.

Pallbearers are Harold Davis, Dereck Page, Robert Davis, Troy Parrish, Aaron Graham, Mitch Burns and Dewayne Guest.
