Wanda (Jones) Bird

Mrs. Wanda Jones Bird, 78, of Twin City passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia following an extended illness.

Mrs. Bird was born November 22, in Elberton to the late Ira Gordon Jones and Ola Mae Sutton.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Chris Bird; brothers, Gene Jones, Bobby Jones, Punk Jones, Robert Jones, Bill Jones, Boot Jones; sisters, Betty Akridge, Skooter Partridge.  Mrs. Bird was a homemaker.  She enjoyed gardening and looking after her chickens.  She loved her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Bird is survived by her husband, Buddy Bird of Twin City; son Robert Bird of Sylvania; daughter, Pam Reimsnider (Bill) of Swainsboro; sister, Wilene Newman of Swainsboro; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorial Service will be private.
