Mr. Wesley Linton Hodges, Jr., 57, of Midville, GA died January 15, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Hodges was born October 27, 1956 in Fort Jackson, SC to Wesley Linton Hodges, Sr. and Laura Beth Baggett Bedgood. He was one of four children. He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Linton Hodges, Sr.; brother, Randy Hodges; step-father, Carlton Bedgood. Mr. Hodges enjoyed fishing, hunting, digging for arrow heads and loved spending time with his daughters.
Survivors include his mother, Laura Beth Baggett Bedgood of Midville; daughters, Lindsay (Daniel) Eubanks of Swainsboro and Skye W. Hodges (Daniel Leveritt) of Sylvania; sisters, Linda Sconyers of Midville and Judi Boatright of Swainsboro; granddaughter, Ally Eubanks of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial service will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014 with Dr. Ray Freeman officiating.
