Mr. Willard Jones, 74, of Swainsboro passed away Sunday night, December 31, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Jones was born October 10, 1943 in Stillmore, Ga. to the late Ira Gordon Jones and Ola Mae Sutton Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Jones; 7 brothers; 1 sister. Mr. Jones loved fishing, watching westerns, and watching wrestling. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his son, Donnie Jones (Kathy) of Twin City; sisters, Willene Newman of Swainsboro, Wanda Bird (Charles) of Stillmore, and Nita Partridge of Louisville; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial service will be private and at a later a date.
