William Lee Gallahan

Mr. William Lee Gallahan departed for his eternal heavenly home on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, after a hard-fought cancer battle.

He is survived by his father, Solomon Lee Gallahan and the love of his life, Tiffany Brown (Gallahan). The only thing in life he loved more than the two listed prior was his Detroit Sports Teams. He was an avid Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings fan.

Affectionately known to most as Big Man, he was a teddy bear unless angered. He would give the shirt off his back or the last dollar he had to anyone in need. A Mason and a Shriner, he also loved to help his fellow community members and the Children’s Hospital. He loved to joke and cut the fool just to see someone smile.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelly Riggs Simmons.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Edenfield officiating.

Interment will be in Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Brown, David Rogers, Ben Brinson, Ricky Beck, Billy Bennett, and Darrell Sharpe.

Honorary pallbearers are Tim White and Justin Edenfield.
