William Mike Woods

Mr. William Mike Woods, 59, of Adrian passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Woods was born November 28, 1962, in Macon to the late Aaron Woods, Sr. and Carol Ingram.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Marsh.  Mr. Woods worked in construction, was a heavy equipment and crane operator.  He enjoyed fishing, riding dirt roads, computer games and listening to Saturday Night Jukebox.  Mr. Woods attended Corinth Church.

Survivors include his life partner, Melanie Martin of Adrian; stepmother, Dorothy Woods of Swainsboro; brothers, Aaron Woods, Jr. (Trisha) of Meeks; half-brother, Tony Woods (Jeannie) of Swainsboro; stepbrother, Bobby Marsh (Tina) of Swainsboro; sisters, Clara Rewis (Daryl Young) of Adrian, Laura Ware of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Wesley Webb officiating.
