April Barwick

Mrs. April Barwick, 54, of Kite passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at her residence, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Barwick was born April 24th, 1968, in Lansing, Michigan to Charles Dwane Griffith and Bonnie Lee Fegan Griffith. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Griffith and sister, Robbin Deloach. Mrs. Barwick loved being a homemaker where she enjoyed interior design, listening to music and visiting yard sales. She loved helping people. Her favorite holiday was Christmas.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Jimmy Barwick of Kite, GA.; Mother; Bonnie Griffith, sons, James (Amanda) Kirby of Kite, GA, Dennis Joyner of Garfield, GA, Charles Joyner of Kite, GA, and Jimmy (Seagi Stevens) Barwick Jr. of Kite, GA; Grandchildren, Jaden Sullivan, Madison Sullivan, Makenzie Sullivan, Tripp Francis, Allie Pierre, Sara Pierre, Kilie Pierre, and Bubba Pierre. Great-Grandson; Huxley Thompson. Sister; Nancy Griffith of Swainsboro, GA, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 1st, 2023, at Graham Memorial Nazarene Church Cemetery with Reverend Curtis Koscheski officiating.

Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31st, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
