Mrs. Tatum was born February 1, 1933, in Swainsboro to Sarah Hall. She was preceded in death by her mother and sister. She was a Gideon Auxiliary and a member of Hawhammock Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Tatum and her husband enjoyed traveling all over the world and in their later years, had a handicap accessible RV and camped all over the United States.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Doyle Tatum of Swainsboro; sons, Philip Tatum of Swainsboro, Bill Tatum (April) of Rutherfordton, NC; daughters, Michelle Stanford (T. K.) of Gatlinburg, TN, Elizabeth Black and Emily Tatum, both of Swainsboro; 15 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren, several other family members, and a host of friends.
