Mrs. Belva D. Campbell, 83, of Meeks, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at the home of her daughter Becky Hooks following an extended illness.
Belva was born June 4, 1940, in Gallatin, TN to Willie Key and Mable L. Key. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell Campbell, brothers, J. F. Key, Beuna G. Key; sister, Ethel Mae Phillips. Belva was retired from Swainsboro Sportswear. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Peggy Harrell (Rufus) of Perry, Becky Hooks (Roger) of Meeks, Linda Roland of Ashford, AL; sister, Marion Ann Fishburn; grandchildren, Tori Hulette, Rufus Harrell, III, Roger Hooks, Jr., Nielia Phillips, Brandi Stinnett, Amanda Applewhite, Kandice Holton, and Charles Roland; 14 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many friends,
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral home with Reverend Jeff Stark officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Corinth Methodist Church Cemetery in Meeks.
Pallbearers are Dylan Edwards, Jeff Hulette, Rufus Harrell, III, Roger Hooks, Jr., Marty Phillips and Cody Hulette.
Our mother loved the color purple. If you can wear purple, please do in honor of our mother.
