Mr. Billy Ray Williams, 68, of Kite passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Community Hospice in Vidalia following an extended illness.
Mr. Williams was born February 16, 1954, in Swainsboro to Bennie S. Williams (Margie) and Ruthie Lee Powell. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Williams was a retired construction worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, traveling, and planting. Mr. Williams was a member of Oak Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Bennie Williams (Diana) of Kite, Christopher Williams (Francine) of Atlanta; daughter, Sabrina Martinez (Juan) of Kite; stepson, Tracy Lively (Melissa) of Dublin; stepdaughter, Lisa Miller (Wendy Farrow) of Adrian; grandchildren, Austin Ledesma, Danielle Williams, Karina Mixon, Brandon Williams, Kylon Lopez, Taylon Martinez, Kassidy Martinez, Malaina Williams, Stevie Miller, Vance Lively, Katrina Miller, Tyler Lively, Slayter Miller, Matt Steptoe, Rudie Steptoe; great-grandchildren, Athena Ledesma, J.R. Mixon, Olivia Mixon, Ellarye Martinez, Alayah Martinez, Bristol Sharpe; brother, Cliff Williams; sisters, Judy Riner, Brenda Creech, Sherry Purvis, Trisha Wheeler; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Lamar Kersey officiating.
Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Kylon Lopez, Taylon Martinez, Vance Lively, Brandon Williams, Rhett Mixon, Hunter Moore, and Matthew Steptoe.
