Mr. Charles Alfred Coleman, 73, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Rockdale Healthcare Center in Conyers, GA following an extended illness.
Mr. Coleman was born February 28, 1947 in Swainsboro, GA. to the late John Calvin and Willie Mae Malone Coleman. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ardelle Brantley; brothers, James Coleman, Willie Clyde Coleman, and Elbert Coleman.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara B. Coleman of Jonesboro; sons, Charles A. Coleman and Chase A. Coleman both of Jonesboro; daughter, Charnessa L. Coleman of McDonough; brothers, Lester Coleman of Swainsboro and Jerry Lee Randall of Denver, CO; sister, Arlane (Garnett) James of Bridgeton, NJ; God sister, Emma Nesbitt Wiley; grandchildren, Imani Coleman Murray (Keishan) of Jersey City, NJ, Daylin Charles Coleman of McDonough; great-granddaughter, Kori Aleisha Murray; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Swainsboro City Cemetery with Reverend James E Love officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Kelvin Williams, Rodney Williams, Tiery Pennington, Alphonso Durden, Jr, and William Hill.
In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service.
