Debra Diane (Kirby) Sullivan

Mrs. Debra Diane Sullivan, 68, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness.

Debra was born August 24, 1955, in Heidelberg, Germany to Edwin A. “Rabbit” Kirby and Mary L Lumley Kirby.  She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin “Rabbit” Kirby and husband, John. L. Sullivan.  Debra was a graduate of Swainsboro High School.  After high school, she obtained a degree in respiratory therapy.  She loved her family and animals.  Debra adored her grandson and great-grandson.  She was always such a giving person.  Debra was a member of Nunez Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Mary L. Kirby of Nunez; sons, Todd Sullivan of Augusta, Donnie Sullivan of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren; Christopher Sullivan, Cayla Sullivan; great-grandson, Bowen Sullivan; brother, Jerry Kirby (Elizabeth) of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Sandra K Ivester of Nunez, Linda Braswell (Mike) of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Nunez Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Harrell officiating.

Interment will be at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Nunez Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Todd Sullivan, Donnie Sullivan, Christopher Sullivan, Mike Braswell, Raul Santiago and Russ Lamb.
