Mr. Donnie Johnson, 66, of Adrian passed away Tuesday night, July 26, 2016 at Community Hospice in Vidalia following an extended illness.
Mr. Johnson was born July 14, 1950 in Lyons, Ga. to the late Roy Johnson and Eula Pearl Powell Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kim Sikes. Mr. Johnson retired from Coleman Sales as a sales supervisor. He loved woodworking, crafting, gardening, and he especially loved spending time with his family. Mr. Johnson was a member of Vidalia Baptist Temple.
Survivors include his wife of 47 yrs., Judy Elizabeth Johnson of Adrian; sons, Craig (Carla) Johnson of Adrian and Keith (Tonya) Johnson of Stillmore; brothers, Ray (Susan) Johnson of Baxley, and Wayne (Debbie) Johnson of Lyons; sisters, Geraldine (Dan) Mitchell of Vidalia, Evelyn (James) Odom of Alabama, Grace Thigpen of Soperton, and Linda (Wendell) Harvey of Lyons; grandchildren, Justin (Sandy) Johnson, Miranda Marsh, Lindsey Marsh, Jade (George) Rhodes, Joel Marsh, Nolan Marsh, and Heath Johnson: great-grandchildren, Weston Johnson, Ethan Johnson, and Addison Rhodes; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at The Rock Worship Center at 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, July 30, 2016 with Reverend Ronnie Collins officiating .
Burial will be private and at a later date.
The Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service Saturday afternoon, July 30, 2016 at the Rock Worship Center.
