Mrs. Doris Williams, 78, of Kite passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital in Savannah after a battle with Covid.
Mrs. Williams was born April 30, 1943 in Kite to the late John Cooper and Susie Kersey Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Thelma Cooper, Emma Mae Amerson, Clyde Burris; brothers, Jimmy Cooper, Jay Cooper; special nieces, Lynda Smith, Glynda Hooks, Cheryl Lamb. Mrs. Williams enjoyed reading books, working in the yard, and attending yard sales. She loved her animals and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Nedra Hood (Dean), Wendy Kreutz (Lee); sister, Evie Dell Pernell; grandchildren, Amanda Hood (Jake), Eric Hood (Emily), Cera Scarborough (Johnathon), John David "JD" Kreutz (Chelsea), Matthew Kreutz, Shelby Kreutz; great grandchildren, Addie Claxton, AJ Claxton, Athan Claxton, Abel Claxton, Anna Grace Scarborough, Analeigh Scarborough, Alanna Scarborough, Caitlyn Kreutz; family special to her heart, Tara Blount, Titia Blount, Chaughn Smith, Tressi Usry, Carla Lamb, Tera Claxton, Rock Hooks; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all near and dear to her heart.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021at Kersey Cemetery with Reverend Lamar Kersey and Allen Meeks officiating.
Pallbearers are Eric Hood, J.D. Kreutz, Matthew Kreutz, Johnathon Scarborough, AJ Claxton, Athan Claxton.
