Mr. Edward George Books, 68, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Mr. Books was born in Ohio to the late George Edward Books and Martha Jean Pittman Books. He was a truck driver for many years. Mr. Books loved listening to Elvis and any song about truckers.
He is survived by his friends, Bernadette Reno and Billy Priest.
Memorial Service will be 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating.
