Mr. Floyd Lynn Conley, 70, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 following an extended illness.
Mr. Conley was born January 19, 1950 in Metter to the late Arthur Lynn Conley and Ruby Riner Conley. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna Spurlock Conley; sisters, Betty Cox, Mildred Ann Conley; brothers, William Conley, Robert Conley, Lewis Conley. Mr. Conley loved the beach and camping out. He loved his nieces and nephews and having cookouts with his family and friends. Mr. Conley was a Sunday School teacher at his church for 40+ years. He loved going to church and was a member of Sanctuary Church of God in FL.
Survivors include his brothers, Arthur (Ann) Conley and Lonnie (Brenda) Conley, both of Swainsboro, John (Inez) Conley of Fayetteville, Ronnie Conley of Kite; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Meeks and Reverend Arthur Conley officiating.
Interment will follow at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Ricky Conley, Gant Conley, Mitchell Conley, B. J. Conley, Michael Conley, and Jr Wilkerson.
In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service.
