Mr. Frederick B. Coleman, 51, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at AU Medical Center in Augusta following a brief illness.
Mr. Coleman was born August 24, 1970, in Swainsboro to the late George Coleman and Lela Young Coleman. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Samone Freeman. Mr. Coleman was educated by the public school system of Emanuel County. He was a graduate of Swainsboro High School class of 1988.
Mr. Coleman was employed by Altman Pontiac of Statesboro and Fast Go Oil & Lube in Swainsboro as a master mechanic and manager in the automotive department for over 25 years. He then transitioned to becoming self employed detailing vehicles and later becoming what is now known as Coleman Car Care.
Mr. Coleman was a member of Coleman Temple Holiness Church. He loved spending time with his family most of all. He also enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and driving fast cars.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Debra Coleman of Swainsboro; sons, Zykeil Brown, Willie Shivers, Wesley Shivers, Kenton Shivers, all of Swainsboro; daughter, Shanteria Coleman of Swainsboro; brothers, Chris Coleman (Tasha), Reginald Coleman, both of Swainsboro, Eugene Coleman (Tanisha) of Blythe, Michael Coleman of Lyons; sisters, Eugenia Mercer (Wayne), Charlotte Coleman, Natasha Cooper (Tony), all of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Swainsboro Auditorium.
Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Nick Young, Javon Brown, Ish Young, Ronald Burnett, Quan Atkins and Najaycah Young.
