Gaynell May Hymel

Ms. Gaynell May Hymel, 65, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in at AU Medical Center in Augusta following an extended illness.

Ms. Hymel was born April 22, 1956, in Louisiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Kimble and Roberta Rogers; sister, Charlene Robertson; brother, Bobby Kimble.  Ms. Hymel was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Dehia Graham (Josh) of Swainsboro; son, Bobby Hymel of Augusta; fiancé, David Fulcher of Swainsboro; brothers, Bubba Kimble (Rose), Bryan Kimble, both of Augusta, Joey Gilland, Keith Kimble, both of Louisiana, Billy Daigrepont, John Smith; sisters, Paulette Elmore (Dan), Tina Derrick, Eva Marie Manuel, all of Mississippi, Nina Schexnayder, Ericka Manuel, Charlotte Martin of Mexico, Elouise Landry (Chase) of Louisiana; grandchildren, Jade Cochran, Jacob Cochran, Donald Hymel; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Graveside Services will be held at Eastbrook Cemetery, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022, with Mr. Cameron Kennison officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Jacob Cochran, Josh Graham, Jade Cochran, and David Fulcher.
