Mrs. Gloria Faye Hadden, 69, of Twin City passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Hadden was born November 8, 1950 in Millen, GA. to the late Nathan Brown and Rosie Lee Hayes Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Nathan Brown, Jr., Pauline Bowen, Herman Brown, Blanch gainer and Kenneth Brown. Mrs. Hadden enjoyed gardening, fishing and looking for arrow heads. She loved her goats and working alone side of her husband on the farm where she was the happiest. Mrs. Hadden was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Hadden of Twin City; son, Rodney Hadden of Metter; daughters, Melissa Brown of Eatonton, Missie Hadden (Gene) of kemp, Jennifer Lee (Ricky) of Metter, Toni Baker of Ohio, Angie Sherrod (Norman) of Summertown and Nicole Hadden of Twin City; sisters, Dot Portwood, Hazel Donaldson, Lottie Overstreet and Jeanette Portwood all of Twin City; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Beckum officiating..
Interment will follow on the Hadden Farm.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 20, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jamie Jones, Greg Evans, Ryan Jones, J.R. Meadows, Keith Slater and Norman Sherrod.
