Mr. Henry Slater, 54, of Temple passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica following an extended illness.
Mr. Slater was born December 4, 1967, in Swainsboro to Paul Slater and Gloria Gordy Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Slater enjoyed hunting and watching football.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Slater of Temple; sons, Jordan Paul Slater (Hali) of Whitesburg, Joseph Brown (Renae) of Tallapoosa, Kenny Jones (Natalie) of Buchanan, Alex Wilkie of Wedowee, AL, Michael Jones (Casey); daughters, Natasha Ann Slater of Nashville, TN, Leah Brown of Roopville, Nicole Cates of Temple, Kayla Perry (Tyler) of Wedowee, AL, Annie Tapp; brothers, Matt Slater (Denise) of Rockmart, Paul Slater of Georgia; sister, Holly Davis of Georgia; 21 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Mr. Cameron Kennison officiating.
Interment will follow at Stillmore City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
