James Lann Obituary

Mr. James Lenwood Lann, 56 of Swainsboro, passed away September 21, 2023, following a brief illness.

Mr. Lann was born April 16, 1967, to George Lenwood Lann, Sr. and Mary Jo Tribble Lann in Riverside, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Bobby Joe Lann.

Mr. Lann graduated from Telfair County High School. He loved fishing, hunting, and golfing. He was known as the bread man when he worked with Derst Baking Company. Mr. Lann like to go to the mountains and beach for vacations. Mr. Lann was a veteran in the United States Army.

James is survived by his wife, Cindy Lann of Swainsboro; sons, Brandon (Sara) Morris of Swainsboro, and Justin Lumpkin of Adrian; brothers, George D. (Patricia) Lann of McRae, and Gary (Karen) Lann of Eatonton; sister, Eva (Thomas) Taylor of Dublin; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
