Janice Lynn Tompkins

Ms. Janice Lynn Tompkins, 63, of Swainsboro, GA. passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.

Ms. Tompkins was born in Hazleton, PA. January 6, 1956 to the late William Tompkins and Suzanne Walters Tompkins. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Zackery Lively; brother, Jeff Tompkins. Ms. Tompkins was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Lively (Mandy) of Swainsboro, John Roy Lively (Kristie) of Stillmore, Jimmy Lively (Lisa) of Loganville, and Tommy Lively of Clearwater, FL.; daughter, Kim Henry (Destry) of Dudley; brother, Billy Tompkins (Laura) of Sautee, GA.; grandchildren, Victoria Lively, Charlie Henry, Briana Henry, Hunter Scarboro, Brooke Beckum, Jarett Henry, Maci Lively, Jakob Lively, Lenox Lively, and Sydney Lively; great-grandchildren, Presleigh Wasendorf, Makayla Savedge, Kadance Savedge, Cash Lively, Ollie Kate Scarboro, and Rovie Jane Irby.

Graveside Services will be at the Swainboro City Cemetery 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2019 with Rev. Billy Brinson officiating.

 The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Allan Durden, John Durden, Matt Tompkins, Jarett Henry, Jeff Newsome, Richard Peacock, and Ashley Riner.

 Honorary Pallbearers are Frank Canady, Wade Williams, Lee Stewart, and Ken Griner.

In lieu of flowers remembrances can be made to Chapman Funeral Home or Pruitt Health Hospice.
