Ms. Jeanette Bell Scott, 69, of Swainsboro, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro following a brief illness.
Ms. Scott was born August 8, 1952, in Swainsboro to Joseph Bell, Sr. and Vastie Walker Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Malion Bell. Ms. Scott was a member of Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church.
Jeanette Scott was a true Southern Charm. She left a positive impact on every life she touched. She enjoyed traveling, reading, tending to her flowers, shopping, and spending time with her siblings. She and her two sisters were known as The Three Bs. She had a big heart and a passion for helping others. Her faith in God was so strong it could carry the world. She enjoyed the sermons of Bishop T.D. Jakes and listening to music. She was also an avid sports fan...LeBron James being her absolute favorite athlete! She adored her family and was always “the one you could go to about anything”. She will truly be missed!
Survivors include her son, Darion Beasley of Swainsboro; daughters, Chondra Williams (Willie) of Swainsboro, Felicia Scott of Covington, Meshia Scott of Atlanta; brothers, Joseph Bell, Jr. of Atlanta, Donnie Bell (Lynn) of Swainsboro; sisters, Shirley Brantley (Edward) of Swainsboro, Marjorie Bell of Rex; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Graveside Service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Swainsboro City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
