Mr. Jerry L. Harper, 84, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mr. Harper was born May 16, 1936 in Macon the late Ralph Lowell Harper and Ruth Sanders Harper. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeffy Carter Harper; daughter, Susan Harper. Mr. Harper loved farming, gardening, and planting vegetables. He loved his wife and family. Mr. Harper served in the United States Air Force for 18 years.
Survivors include his sons, Bobby Harper (Julio Moreno) of Atlanta, Randy (Tina) Harper of Augusta, James Harper of Ohio; daughters, Beverly Sikes & Jessica Harper, both of Swainsboro; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Memorial Service will be at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum 7 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020.
