Mr. Jimmie Frank Davis, 75, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Davis was born February 1, 1944 in Swainsboro to the late Ellie Ray Davis, Sr. and Minnie Bell Coleman Davis. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ellie Ray Davis, Jr. and Herbert Davis. Mr. Davis established Diamond Propane in 1992 and was owner of Temptations Restaurant. He was a farmer and retired from Agrium. Mr. Davis served in the United States Army and honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Mr. Davis was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include wife of 48 years and caregiver, Judy Davis; his daughters, Kristi (Keith) Wright of Swainsboro, Keta (Mark) Hardin of Adrian; sister, Shirley Jackson of Macon; 3 grandchildren, Brianna (Josh) Williams, Krimsen Wright, both of Swainsboro, Dak Hardin of Adrian and many friends.
Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Swainsboro City Cemetery. Rev. Mark Hardin will be officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Davis, Elb Donaldson, Donald Davis, Keith Horton, Ricky Jackson and Joshua Williams.
