Mr. Kenneth Lee “Shorty” Williamson, 83, of Soperton passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Meadows Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mr. Williamson was born March 8, 1938 in Oak Park to the late E.L. Williamson and Edna Earl Durden Williamson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Williamson; sister, Janice Rogers. Mr. Williamson loved hunting, fishing, and an avid race fan. He also loved to watch Westerns on Sunday afternoons. Mr. Williamson was a retired truck driver and mechanic.
Survivors include his nephews, Terry (Sue) Edenfield of Soperton, Craig (Jami) Williamson of Adrian; sister, Phyllis Williams of Swainsboro; serval nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Graveside Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Hal Wilson officiating.
The family will also receive friends from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Landrum Hodges, Mark Mimbs, Waylon Jones, Johnny Crosby, Peewee Wilson, Ty Hardy.
