Loletha Jackson Obituary

Evangelist Loletha Boynton Jackson, 58, of Swainsboro departed this life when God whispered, “Well done my good and faithful servant, take your rest,” on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Landmark Hospital of Savannah following an extended illness.

 

Loletha was born August 17, 1963, in Swainsboro to Eddie Boynton and Willa Dean Parker. She was preceded in death by her son, Quenton Boynton. She was a member of Victory Temple Holiness Church. She attended and graduated from the Emanuel County School System, and furthered her education at Southeastern Technical College, receiving a degree in Cosmetology.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Melvin Jackson of Swainsboro; her granddaughter, whom she loved dearly, Quinia Boynton of Swainsboro; father, Eddie Boynton of Swainsboro; mother, Willa Dean Parker of Swainsboro; sisters, Vivian Boynton Foster (Robert) of Hinesville, Monica Boynton, Nedria Boynton, Lyntoria Baker, and Stephanie Boynton Hill (Chris), all of Swainsboro; aunts, Ora Bell Jones of Chicago, IL, Bertha McCoy and Pauline Mincey, both of Jacksonville, FL; sisters-in-law, Annie D. Minkins of Swainsboro, Marsha Lynch of Brunswick; brother-in-law, Troy Phillips of Swainsboro; nieces, whom she raised as her own, Latonya Boynton and Ashley Boynton, both of Hinesville, LaCurria Lewis of Swainsboro; nephew, Malik Baker of Savannah; a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends, all whom will miss her dearly.

 

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Swainsboro City Auditorium.

 

Interment will follow at Swainsboro City Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
