Mrs. Lorraine Kingery, 76, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Select Medical in Savannah following an extended illness.
Mrs. Kingery was born March 3, 1946, in Savannah to Mike Kingery and Lucille Kingery. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Kingery loved reading, cross-stitching, and spending time outdoors. She was a very private person. Mrs. Kingery was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Morris of Swainsboro; daughters, Amy Akridge (Lewis) of Swainsboro, Bobbie Moore (Chris) of Monroe; brothers, Lonnie Kingery (Vivian) of Greensboro, NC, Larry Kingery (Becky) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, T.J. Purvis, Mallory Weber (Eric), Haleigh Johnson, Griffin Moore, Landon Moore; great-grandchildren, Mylee Weber, Bristol Weber, Lilly Beneteau, Layla Kate Beneteau; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Graveside Service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum with Reverend Brad McKenzie officiating.
Pallbearers will be Lewis Akridge, Chris Moore, T.J. Purvis, Eric Weber, Griffin Moore, and Landon Moore.
