Mrs. Mae Jean Chalker, 81, of Twin City passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Chalker was born May 17, 1940, in Swainsboro to James Thomas Hall and Mackie Lou Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Otis George Chalker; brother, James T. Hall; sister, Margie Boatright; great-grandson, Dylan Anderson.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Ray Chalker of Adrian; daughters, Connie Chalker (James), Rita Tapley, and Carol Odom (Gary), all of Twin City, Janice Cheryl Polan of Swainsboro; brothers, Lewis Hall and Daniel Hall, both of South Carolina; sister, Lou Ellen Flanders of South Carolina; beloved dog, Mia; 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Chapman Funeral Home.
