Obituary
Mrs. Maggie Elyce Pye, 56, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro following an extended illness.
Mrs. Pye was born March 13, 1966, in Swainsboro to Johnny McNeely and Molly McNeely. She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Steve Pye; brother, Donald McNeely; uncle, Gerald Marsh.
Survivors include her sons, Johnny Pye (Jessica Ferres) of Louisville, Joseph Pye of Oak Park; daughter, Amanda Deloach (Justin Rogers) of Swainsboro; mother, Molly McNeely; brother, Eddie McNeely (Judy) of Germany; sisters, Geraldine Arledge (Judson) of Swainsboro, Johnnie Faye Coleman (Danny) of Canoochee, Catina Kirby of Oak Park; 8 grandchildren, 1 greatgrandchild, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery with Reverend Burt Flanders officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Richard Braddy, Ashton Deloach, Matt Weeks, Phillip Kirby, Joseph Pye, and Johnny Pye.
