Ms. Mary Rose Brown, 81, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Ms. Brown was born August 11, 1938 in Swainsboro, GA, to the late Judson Matthew Brown and Carrie Rich Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe Brown. Ms. Brown was an amazing cook. She loved serving others. Ms. Brown was a nurse for over 40 years and enjoyed it very much. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Swainsboro.
Survivors include her sons, Matt (Betsy) Brown of Hawkinsville, Jim (Christy) Brown of Clarksville; cousin, Cherry Currey of Swainsboro; grandsons, Macon Brown, Jay Brown, Brooks Brown; and many friends.
Graveside Service will be Friday, March 20, 2020 at11 a.m. in Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev. David Unkles officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
