Mrs. Mary Rebecca Tuttle Justice, 74, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Justice was born November 27, 1947, in Savannah to Edward Rollie Riner and Loree Edenfield Riner. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mark Justice; daughter, Kellie Tuttle. Mrs. Justice enjoyed dancing, crossword puzzles, and playing cards. She was a person that truly had nine lives. If you knew her, you knew that she always had something medically going on; however, that did not stop her from being her best self. She took the most joy in caring for her children and even more so, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There wasn't anything she would not do to make sure they were all taken care of, even in the hardest, most struggling days leading to her last breath. She was more than just your average Granny, Mother, Daughter, and "Nee-Naw", she was a provider, a way maker. She made a way of nothing. She didn't have all the money or fancy things in life, but she had her family and to her, that was much better than anything this world has to offer. Now with that said, of course, she enjoyed extra things like playing "joker-poker" machines or playing cards and drinking her "blues". She loved dancing, even when she did not have the energy. She loved to go on vacations and get out of the house. She loved spam callers (kidding), but it was always funny to hear her tell them about themselves. She was a spit-fire woman. She was not afraid to tell you what she thought, and she had no filter. Considering everything she had wrong, she sure did not let it show. She did not want anybody to help her or treat her any different than the average healthy person. She was determined to outdo everyone around her, and she did. She faced death multiple times and bounced back better than ever each time. She lived a great life and fought hard. She fought a tough battle and now, she can rest in peace and will no longer have to suffer. She is loved by many and will always have a huge part of lots of hearts. So, I speak for everyone that loved her and for everyone that she helped when I say that this is not goodbye, this is just see you later.
She is survived by her sons, Brian Tuttle of Honduras, Michael Tuttle and Paul Tuttle (Joni), both of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Chris Tuttle, Laura Woodcock (Ridge), Kaleb Tuttle, Sean Tuttle, Chelsea Wiggins (Zane), J. P. Tuttle, Tyler Tuttle, Miranda Tuttle, Rayney Tuttle, Caile Finley; great-granddaughters, Haylee Prince, Autumn Tuttle, Arabella Woodcock, Julia Woodcock; several other family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Morris Brantley and Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating.
