Melissa Ann Nasworthy

Mrs. Melissa Ann Nasworthy, 50, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, May 10, 2021.    

Mrs. Nasworthy was born June 17, 1970 in Swainsboro to the late John “Butter Ball” Burris and Ruth Evans Burris.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Johnny Burris; special friend, Chris “Papa Bear” Gregory.  Mrs. Nasworthy loved her dog, Iroc.  She enjoyed NASCAR, cokes, collecting jewelry and fixing cars. 

Survivors include her husband, William Y. Nasworthy of Swainsboro; sons, Joshua Burris (Rebecca Wilkerson), Brandon C. Gregory (Michelle), both of Swainsboro; daughter, Megan Deann Nasworthy (Cassandra Dalton) of Swainsboro; sisters, Patsy Burris of Swainsboro, Amy Duncan of Twin City; grandchildren, Jaylynn Riner, Skyler Gregory, Aaron Gregory, Riley Gregory, Rayden Davis, Addison Guinup, Erica Johnson, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2021 in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.
